Louise Brooks was a silent film actress whose film career lasted from 1925-1938. Today she is best known for the sleek, bobbed hairstyle she wore during the 1920's.

The Brooks bob was shingled shorter in back with the hair angled down longer on the sides and curling into points at the cheeks. The bangs were cut straight across just above the eyebrows. Brooks almost always wore her hair straight and the length on the sides and back was usually around ear-level.
